Cannot get signals of potentiometer

The terminal block is exactly what it says. You simply cannot use this dumb device by itself.

Thanks for the added info, but the 1315 is just a terminal block. It needs to be connected to a device that performs the actual acquisition. What is it screwed into?

Yes, It is screwed into 1540, which has 8 channels for LVDTs. Sorry for the confusing, I am a beginner of using Labview from civil engineering. I really got confused by the channels, wires and terminology.

Thanks. I just checked, the terminal block was indeed screwed into 1540.

I think I worked it out. Repaired some wires and reconnected the channels to terminals, and reset the maximum and minimum limits. Seems like I got reasonable data.

Thanks.
