Cannot get Measurement & Automation Explore started

I get a "Measurement & Automation Explore Error" when I start Measurement & Automation Explore or I try to view my devices and software. What should I do?

that seems like a standard windows error message due to a faulty program install.

 

My first bet would be to remove the program from the add/remove software window in control panel, then reinstall..

Is this a new problem?  How long have you had MAX?  Was it working before this?

 

Have you made any significant software upgrades since that time (ie. windows etc)?

 

If this is a new problem can you think of anything that you did that might have caused this?

 

Did you just install MAX or did you install other programs too?  If so do those work?
