Cannot find DAQ assistant in Labview 2009

Hello,

 

I have Labview 2009 (spring edition) and recently bought compact daq (NI CDAQ 9274). I have also bought other CDAQ modules to measure current and voltage like NI 9215 and NI 9227. I installed the driver CD (NI-DAQ mx 16.0) which came along with it. But, I am unable to find the DAQ assistant when I right click on Block Diagram. Can you please help.

Hi John Doe,

 

please read the compatibility notes on LV2009 and DAQmx16 - it explains it all!

 

Possible solutions:

- use LV2013 or newer

- use DAQmx 9.7 or older

Thank you GerdW. I have now installed Labview 2009 and DAQmx 9.7 and I can see DAQ assistant.
