Can the labview examples be contributed in school to students for teaching the module

Hello,

     We have found some labview example vis in the Labview software purchased. These vis can be extracted, executed and build in exe files to be saved and used in other places.

     So, is the build exe file licensed and restricted for use in academics. Does NI allow the exe file to be distributed to students in institution for teaching and academics. Is there any copyright infringement imposed in the labview example code or vi that is compiled by the user into executable file for downloading by students to learn.

As this question involves Licensing issues regarding NI Software, I suggest that you ask NI.  Your questions are about legal issues, and even if some of us had legal training (and maybe even a Law License), you should probably get the Legal Opinion directly from the party who is most concerned.

Recently just received the reply from NI.: If the licence is an academic license, as long as it is not used for any commercial purposes, then it is ok.
