Can the Color Table property of Intensity Graphs accept > 256 colors?

Hello all,

I am trying to make use of the Intensity Graph, and would like to input a colortable with 4096 colors.

However, looking at the description in the help file for this property, it seems like the colortable accepts only 256 colors:

Color Table Property

Short Name: ColorTbl

Requires: Base Package

Class: IntensityGraph Properties

Array of 256 colors defining the color map.

You can set the color of the front panel object by wiring a hexadecimal number with the form RRGGBB or by wiring the color box constant to the property

Is there a workaround or an alternative solution for this?
