Can't select controls

Solved!
Go to solution

I've been using LabVIEW for a few years now and this just happened. It feels like a grouping problem but I ungrouped everything. Yesterday I could select and rightclick controls on the front page to edit controls. Suddenly I can't. Now I have to doubleclick the control and it opens the Block page and from there I can edit the properties. What did I do?

Hi RHutchings,

I don't think anyone here can tell you what YOU did…

Why don't you attach your VI (or another VI with the same problem) to allow us to investigate this behaviour?

Best regards,
GerdW

My guess is that you locked the front panel controls.

Yeah that's what it was but I had to select the entire front panel to un-lock it. Thanks.

Ctrl+A, that's probably what you did to lock it in the first place. 🙂
