Can't save to library

I've just installed LabVIEW 2012 on a PC.  I transferred over an existing project and opened it.  I created a new control.  When I went to save the control in an existing library instead of opening the library in the file browser, the save function wants to replace the library with the new control.  I recall that there was a setting for allowing the llb's to be viewed in a file browser window, but I cannot find it.  Can anyone point me the way?

Thanks.

John

Is the llb set to read only?  When you are browsing for the Save As, you should be able to open the llb just like it was a folder.

That was the first thing I checked and it was not set to read only.  I'm checking for updates now.  I'm wondering if I have a version problem.  The program I'm revising may have recently been edited using a PC with 2012 sp1.
