Can't find AO Write.vi

Solved!
Go to solution

When I open LV 8.0 source code in LV 2010, LV can't find AO Write.vi.  I have Traditional NI-DAQ 7.4.4 drivers loaded but I don't see Traditional NI-DAQ in my Measurement IO pallet.  Any ideas?  Does LV 2010 not support Traditional NI-DAQ?

Thanks in advance.

That version doe support LabVIEW 2010. You need to install LabVIEW support when you run the installer. The installer detects which versions of LabVIEW are installed and automatically selects the libraries. You either did not have 2010 installed, or the installer did not properly detect it. Are you perhaps running the 64-bit version? Re-run the DAQ installer and see if the LabVIEW support item is selectable.

Sorry, but how do I go about running the installer?  I'm using the 32 bit version.

pop in the Device Drivers DVD or Download and run from here

Note: traditional DAQ is not officially supported on Windows 7
