Hi,
I just bought the NI DAQ USB 6003 and I'm trying use it. I installed Ni-DAQmx 17.6 and I tested the DAQ with MAX. It worked perfectly.
But when I tried to create a new VI to try to measure a voltage, I couldn't find the DAQ assistant in the functions palet (below Measurements or Express). I tried to uninstall DAQmx, to fix the installation and to fix LabView but nothing seems to work...
Anyone got an idea how to fix this?
PS: I'm working with LabView 2017

Hi Robin,
why do you need such an ExpressVI when the plain DAQmx functions are easy to use?
Are those plain functions available?
If yes: use them. (There still might be a problem with your ExpressVI installation.)
If not: there is a problem with your DAQmx installation. Correct it…

Dear Robin,
Please enlighten how you able find that DAQ Assistant. We we need to Install the 32 Bit LabVIEW for it. Facing same problem I have a 2017 LabVIEW 64 bit and DAQ Express 17.1.
Is there any one who can help me in getting this fixed.
