Can a Labview VI be converted to an Active X node?

Can Labview VI's be converted to Active X nodes to be place inside other, non-Labview applications?

As far as I know (ver 6i), it's not possible. Still, you can have your lv application running as an activex server. Therefore, you can control it as you want, the difference is the VI running as a separate window, not integrated in your non-lv application's window. Another way of using the VI is building a DLL, especially if you have invisible front panels.

Hope this helps

There are examples here for communicating with LabVIEW from other applications using ActiveX.
