Can LabVIEW overlay a dial over an image?

Solved!
Go to solution

I would like to overlay a dial on top of an image in LabVIEW.  It would be great if the dial could rotate about the center axis.  I included an attachment of what It would possibly look like.  Please let me know if any of you know how to do this.

Thank you!

You should use the Picture object for this. It has a slew of VIs to draw all kinds of things. Combined with the geometry VIs, you should be able to achieve what you want quite easily.

You need to set the other items on a normal dial to transparent and place it on top the image.

Would you be able to save down to LV 9?

I apparently misinterpreted the question...

In any case, I am attaching an example of what I had in mind (LV 2011 project), for what it's worth.
