Can I use SH68-68-EP instead of SH68-68-D1?

Hi,

My problem is simple: 

I've got a test to do with a PCI-6602 (timer / counter) and a SCB-68 connector.

The cable specified for this card is a SH68-68-D1 and I've only a SH68-68-EP. 

=> Is there a risk of shortcut or deterioration of the card?? Or I can test this card with this cable???
