Can I know how to indentify Ni PXI 8431/8432 ande enable individual ports of these serail cards

I have PXI 1044 which 8431 for RS 485/422 and 8432 for Rs 232. Can anyone help me how to identify these cards and enable indiviual ports.

Hi Carol,

You can use MAX to see what hardware you have and use aliases, if you want, for the different ports.
