Can I fix the device number without having to install the NI device monitor on every computer?

Solved!
Go to solution

I created a program that captures a voltage signal for a specified amount of time, as determined by the user. The program then amplifies the signal and calculates its average. However, the issue I am facing is that the device number for the National Instruments (NI) device changes every time I use this program on a different computer. Is there a way to fix the device number and use the program as an executable file without having to install the NI device monitor on every computer?

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Thank you.

I used "Programmatically Finding Device Name of DAQ Device in System in LabVIEW".

And it can fix my problem!

Please let me know if you have any further comments to improve this vi.
