Can I convert a version 8.0 LabVIEW VI to a version 6 VI

I am trying to use a VI I created in LabVIEW 8.0 on a computer that runs LabVIEW 6.0. Can this be done?

Since you can only save for one version backwards, you would need LabVIEW 7.1, 7.0, and 6.1. Your LabVIEW 8 VI would also not have any of the functions that are not in the older versions. This would include the event structure, timed loop, DAQmx, and several others.

Yes,of course, but is it possible anyway?

It's very simple: the vi(iversion 😎 i want to convert to version 6i is the one for k8055d card ...

Perhaps it is sufficent?

Tanks, anyway

You posted to a very old thread instead of the Downconvert thread that is at the top of the page. You also failed to attach a VI. So, post to the correct place with the code. Please be prepared for a wait. LabVIEW 6 is very old.

Ok...

Many Thanks for your researches...

I'll try in another way; Delphi7... very old too (like me!).

Your message got buried in the Downconvert thread. Plus, it was posted in French. You can find the VI in version 6 in the Downconvert Requests Thread
