Can I configure LabVIEW so that connector inputs are requried by default?

Is it possible to configure LabVIEW 7 such that when I create a VI and setup its connector all inputs are requried (rather than recommended) as default?

Generally, when I make a sub-VI, I want all of its inputs to be provided by the calling VI.  It is the exception that they should be recommended / optional instead of required.

I have never heard about a setting in LabVIEW that makes all input terminals on the connector pane "required" connections.

Your subject may be handled by creating VI templates with appropriate "required terminals" and use them as a starting point when creating new VIs.

Hi

There is no option to change the default for recommended or required. By default they will always be recommended.

Regards

Tim

Wouldn't it be good to have such an option?
