Bypass/ignore/diable hardware for VI testing purposes

I don't have a chassis at my desk and it's a lot easier to work on the code there.
I'm running 17, is there an easy way to bypass or disable the hardware part and just test run the everything else?

I use one 9148 chassis with 3 cards, 9213 9201 9481, if it at all matters.

Thank you!

Put everything related to hardware in a diagram disable structure or a case structure with a boolean that keeps it from running.  But if it is data acquisition, you'll need to do something in the Enabled case or the case that does run to simulate the data that you would've gotten from the hardware.
