Building applications Labview 5.1.1 source to Win3.x OS

Hi

I'd like to run an application I've built in Labview 5.1.1 on a Win3.x OS.
Is the only way to make an application for this OS to recompile my
application on a version of Labview running on a 3.x OS?

MTIA

It's been a long time since I've had to think about Windows 3.1 but I believe the answer is yes. Another thing to consider is that LabVIEW 5.1 is only for Win85/98/NT so you will need an older version of LabVIEW along with the correct application builder. If you've used any of the new features that were introduced with version 5 (ActiveX, VI Server), you'll also have to make a lot of changes to the source code. Personally, I'd think that you'd be better off upgrading that old computer.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for that, if I do have to go to a Labview that will run on a Win
3.x machine I think your right!
