Build VI for direction finding and beamforming

Dear all,

 

I want to buiild VI for direction finding and beamforming. From page https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-25716 , it described for direction finding but I can't figured it out about beamforming.

 

Is anybody out there can help me, please ?

but they only shared the consept of algorithm..no one ever share about implementing beamforming on USRP or SDR

I was able to find a Software Defined Radio group within the NI Community pages.  That might be a place to start.

Hi Agent!

I have gone through literature study of MUSIC DOA but cant figure out how to implement it just using 2 array elements leading to use of 1 USRP so no need of synchronization. I am new to this field. Kindly guide me in steps.

My understanding of the MUSIC algorithm is that it requires at least 3 antennas to do a single axis. You realistically need 4 antennas to get an accurate reading.
