Bug in "edit items..." of "text&picture ring"

LabVIEW 7.1
in the properies dialogbox of a "text&picture ring" are on tab "Edit Items" buttons to move up and down the values to reorder the values.
The bug is : only the text will be reorderd - the pictures will remain in old position. So after doing a reorder the text will describe a wrong pichture.

The question is: "Where and when can i get bugfix for LabVIEW 7.1 ??????"

[o.t.: customer to dealer: I have a problem with my car: I want to turn left but the car turns right. Dealer: "OK, i can sell you a new car witout that bug." Customer take a look at it and opens the hood:"Why is the enginge missing?" Dealer:"This will be fixed in the next model..." ]

Hello,
this problem should be solved in the next LabView version.

For the moment, there is no really good workaround. But I suggest to use a strict type defn control for this ring if it is used in several places in the program. This way you just need to update the original control and the changes will propagate throughout the VI. This is much easier than updating 3, 4, 5,... controls individually.

The comparison hinks at least in one important part. There are a lot
less cars stolen and absolutely none copied, in comparison to software 🙂

o.t. means "off topic". That little story should only show, how sombody plays with their customers.

your answer has nothing to do with

Well, I wasn't the person posting the o.t. in the first place. And I
don't feel like openening a t.p. for such a reaction.

If there had been a good bug fix I would have offered it. But you
posting such a statement, o.t or not, shouldn't be surprised if you get
a reaction on it.
