Best way to port your favorite options to a different version of LabVIEW

Hi, Everyone:

I'm wondering what's the best way to port your favorite options to a new and upgraded LV installation.  I'm used to just copying my labview.ini to the new install if it's the same version of LabVIEW, but I feel it's a bit "dangerous" to do that if you are porting your options to a LabVIEW installation that isn't the same version.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

I've always just copied.

The alternative would be to open the older .ini, copy anything that looks special to you, and paste into the new .ini.  But  then you probably have to look for anything in the new .ini that needs to be deleted because you are adding a similar parameter.
