Best way for organizing sub vi's and reusable code?

I organize my projects by keeping sub vi's in folders on my pc: I have top level vi's in a folder, sub vi's, popups etc all in a different folder.

Maybe there's a better way to do it, especially when the location of directories change.

Second, whats a good way to store my re-usable code, libraries maybe? I have no experience with this yet.
