Bar plot with gridlines visible over plot?

Hi,
I have a bar plot and I was wondering if there is anyway to have the grid in the foreground and the actual plot in the back such that the squares are visible throughout the graph?

Hello,

To my knowledge there is currently no way to move the grid of a graph to the foreground, putting it above the actual plot. I will suggest to R&D that they include this feature in a future version of LabVIEW.

Would there perhaps be a workaround? Such that I could see the chart in squares as opposed to just the bar lines in a bar graph?

Hello,

I do not know of a workaround for this...the only thing I can think of is that you use a bar plot that is not filled, so that you only get the outlines of the bars, and thus can see the grid lines behind the bars.

This is probably the easiest, but another approach is to make an additional
couple plots that make up the grid. If using an XY graph, the grid is just
a data set that goes (X, Y0), (x, Ymax), (X+dX, Ymax), (X+dX, Y0), ...

You can generate the grid once in a loop and just append it to your data any
time you like.
