[BUG] Subdiagram label breaks when converting from LV2013 -> LV2012

Solved!
Go to solution

Before conversion:

Subdiagram Label - Preconversion.png

After conversion:

Subdiagram Label - Postconversion.png

If I then select the 2nd loop and hide its subdiagram label, the 'N' terminal moves up, ABOVE the loop (No snippet, because the 'N' simply disappears from the snippet).

There's no way to fix it, except to remove the loop and make a new one.

I opened it in LV 13 and saved in LV 12.  Opened it in LV 12 (and 13) and it worked fine.

LV 12 = 12.0.1f5

LV 13 = 13.0.1

Misread the post.  Let me continue the experiment.

Okay after hiding the subdiagram label, it still seems to work correctly.

Sorry for not being clear before. My original snippets show:

  1. Original code in LV2013.
  2. What the code looks like after I converted it to LV2012 and opened it (without any other modifications).

This is what the code looks like AFTER I hide the subdiagram label in the converted code:

Subdiagram Label - Postconversion2.png

This happens regardless of whether I open the converted VI in LV2012 SP1 or LV2013.

Here are the details of my computer with LV2013:

  • Windows 8.1 64-bit
  • LV2013 (13.0f2) 32-bit

Perhaps it was fixed in LV2013 SP1? (I don't have that version yet)
