Hello all,
I recently got my hands on a labview license which the last guy who used claims its for labview 2020. I tried to install the labview 2020 through package manager on my PC. After installation and restart it gives me a BSOD screen and keeps restarting without ever loading windows.
I saw that this problem occurred for others too and that its got something to do with labview/windows driver compatibility. After resetting my PC (cause I didn't find any way to uninstall the software from the PC), I tried to install labview 2020 SP1 and made sure to exclude the PXI platform services which was reported to be causing the issue stated above. In both cases I used the 32-bit labview installation.
After installation again, I still have the same problem. I am very clueless as to what I must do to install labview without this happening. It also surprises me that such a problem that has been previously reported by users has not been fixed in the installation packages available even 4 years later.
Anyone who has suggestions for me about this, please help! Thanks in advance 🙂

What is the stop code displayed on the BSOD screen?
Did your PC connect to any NI hardware? Try to boot your PC without any hardware except for mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Hello ZYong,
Thanks for the reply. I managed to install Labview finally by following this solution
https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q0000019l42CAA&l=en-IN
However, in order to properly get it working and stop it from continuously rebooting, I had to uninstall all the drivers which let me interface with NI hardware. This feels like a handicap now.
