Can anyone tell me how I may interconnect an automation refnum to a datalog file refnum. I recently upgrade from the SQL toolkit to the Database connectivity toolset. I find that the SQL compatibility vi's use automation refnum which is what I used in my original app. However, the database toolset seems to use datalog file refnum for it's vi's. I've been unable to pass my sql compatibile refnums to the database toolset refnums. Any information would be appreciated.
I'm guessing that you can't connect the two. Since they are different data types, you can't convert one to the other. You should probably just go with one or the other and not mix the two types of applications.
