Automated EXE UI interaction/button press

Hi, I have two EXEs.  If an event occurs in one of the EXEs, I want it to open up the other EXE (which I will open using the command prompt) and then I want it to press a button (boolean control) on the second EXE programmatically.  I do not want to pass any boolean values between the EXEs. I just want to have it press the button.

Is this possible? by any means, with or without labview.

Thanks
