Application not closing on Deployment system

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have a little problem with some of my executables that I want to run on a PXI-System.

They do work fine, no errors so far, but as soon as I close the Executable programmatically or by clicking the "x", the Front Panel closes but the Task seems to remain "not responding".

I can however close the Application via the taskmanager.

I do not open any references, I just communicate with a PXI Device to read the ambient temperature and close the connection afterwards.

This is the Error, but it does not help me very much (ATTENTION GERMAN 😉 )

Spoiler

It might be interesting to say, that the application runs fine on my development system and that other executables run fine on my deployment system.

😄

Found my own Error, the VISA based driver for my PXI Card was too old,or not suited for Win7.

Everything works after I updated it.

Btw, this was for a Pickering Switch card, using their Pipx40 driver.

Case closed.
