Application builder in Labview 6.1 doesnt handle excel VI's..

When i try to run it freezes and stops after a while. This is because it doesnt do all the excel VI's. What have i done wrong?
1. Labview 6.1 installed
2. App builder version? dont know where to see that
3. LV 6.1 engine installed
4. NI report support included
5. I have only tested the exe-file this time.

I know there are so great issues concerning the version of Excel installed on the developpement machine and on the target machine.

Is it the same version on the 2 machines ??

Hi Wim,

In version 1.0.1 of the toolkit, you must add _Word Dynamic VIs.vi from _wordsub.llb and _Excel Dynamic VIs.vi from _exclsub.llb as dynamic VIs on the Source Files tab when you build the application or DLL. These two VIs contain SubVIs that the high-level Report Generation VIs call dynamically.


Click on the Source Files tab from the installer
Navigate to Program Files\LabVIEW x.x\vi.lib\addons\_office\
Select the appropriate files for your version
