I am attempting to use the analog output signal from the DAC to drive a speaker-like
component. Since the output impedance is so low on the DACs, I cannot generate
the necessary current needed to drive the speaker. So, I am looking to use
a power amplifier on the output to step up the current. Can anyone recommend
an amplifier that has BNC input and output and will amplify the output current
to a 1-Amp maximum? Does National Instruments make anything like this, specially
designed for DAQ applications? I am using a PCI E-Series board and the BNC-2090
front panel.
