Did you mean:

An issue communicating with National Instruments has occurred.

I have been trying to update my LabView software but I keep getting this error:

"An issue communicating with National Instruments has occurred. Either this
computer does not have an active Internet connection or ni.com is temporarily
down. Verify your Internet connection and then click Try Again. If the problem
persists, contact National Instruments."

This is apparently a know problem, and I have also tried all of the solutions from the link below:

I have renewed and reactivated my NI products, have an internet connection, and
am trying to update on a Thursday when the update server is up and running. Not
sure what I've missed.

Thanks,
Neil

Has it worked in the past? How old is your LabVIEW version?

Thanks. I don't remember trying to update in the past (at least not on Windows, where I'm running it now). I have LabView 2012 version 12.0f3 (64-bit).

In the NI License Manager, under Local Licenses, I see the entry for Labview 2012 and it is activated. There is also an entry for Academic Fall 2012, for which it says: Expiring Student Install.
