Adding new 3D buttons in LV6?

Has anyone created new 3D buttons and indicators from objects that can be
added into Labview's pallete of scallable buttons, etc. They are using some
form of the mesa library it appears so new 3D buttons should be able to be
used. I would love some details if anyone has some..

BTW: I am not talking about simply customizing a control or using a bitmap
for a 3D button, I mean a new 3D button from an openGL (or mesa) rendered
object itself.

Currently you cannot create customized buttons using the mesa utilities. While you could create the object, LabVIEW would not have the necessary properties of that button necessary for it to act as a control.
