Question: Are there VIs available to determine mouse-button clicks/transitions?
I'm interested in adding a mechanical action to a slide control: I'd
like the slider to snap back to a value when the mouse button is
released. The slider value controls the speed of a motor and when I
let the slider go, I'd like the motor to stop. I have created a local
variable for the slider and am planning on setting its value to zero
when the mouse-release event happens, assuming I can find some way to
get that information to the VI.
If there are better methods than what I've outlined, I'd love to hear
them.
