Adding Low-Pass Filter to Clean up Signal

Solved!
Go to solution

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if someone could steer me in the right direction on this one.  I have attached my vi.  I need to attach a low-pass filter to "clean up the signal."  I am thinking that I should use a butterworth filter, but when I click on it, there are so many inputs that I don't know what would connect into it.  I am thinking that whatever filter I use, it will be connected immediately after the DAQ Assistant and before the split signals function.  Thank you in advance.

Hi Ryan,

please switch off the labels for all (even very basic) functions. When you need their names look them up in the context help window…

Simplified your VI and included a simple low-pass filter:

Your DAQAssistent reads "1 sample on demand", so no need to work with (arrays of) DDT wires!

Best regards,
GerdW

Thank you so much Gerd.  This does look a lot cleaner.
