I am confused about the definitions of SINAD and SNR,mainly the formula.
SINAD,It is defined as the ratio of the "RMS signal amplitude" to the RMS sum of all other spectral components, including the harmonics but excluding DC.
But I don't know what the "RMS signal amplitude" reffers to, the input signal with all of the components ,including the fundamental ,harmonics and noise?
Or just the desired signal without the harmonics and noise?
"RMS signal amplitude" reffers to the input signal with all of the components according to the algorithm of "SINAD Analyzer.vi".I 'd like to know what exactly the signal reffers to.
About SNR, the same question, also the definition of the "S" in "SNR"
Thanks a lot!
