Hey i am looking for help with how to set up my vi correctly to communicate with an ADAM 4024 which is a 4 channel analog output module using modbus protocol. I am using two channels on my device one controls voltage the other controls current. I have a power supply instrument connect to the output of the ADAM. I have attached my code so far but would like some help on what i should input for the registers?Thank you
Damien

Hi Damien129,
Typically the device itself will write to these registers itself; An example command may be to read these registers, causing the slave device to send the data stored in the registers to the master.
You may not need to write anything to these registers as such, but the best bet is to check the manual, the instrument may need some initial data in these registers to start off with.
I hope this helps,

Not necessary IMO.
