4-20 mA measurement with NI 6009

Hello,

is it possible to connect a 4-20 mA sensor with NI-6009 and read the values with labview interface ?

Thank you

Yes, by using a precision resistor of 250 Ohm and 200mW or higher. The usual resistor you can normally buy is 249 Ohm +- 1 % or better. Measure the voltage over the resistor, divide by 249 and you get the current. Scale to whatever physical unit your sensor uses according to its calibration data.
