Is there a way to control color of a individual bar? (to mark maximum value for example)

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: You'll need to look at alternative methods.

+ You might try multiple plots in the same graph. That gets ugly if you have a lot of colors.

+ You can look in the package manager for a graph toolkit (not sure how it's called).

+ You can draw your own graph in a picture control (lots of work).

+ You can draw in the image in de graph.
