2D Interpolation problem in 8.6

I have probably made some mistake here will embarrass me to no end when I discover it, but it's got me stumped now.

I'm trying to interpolate a point from a 2D grid of data. However the Interpolate 2D Vi always returns NaN, but no error. I've tried all most of the obvious things like transposing the array, but no joy. The weird thing is, if I save it as 8.2 compatible, it will work run on 8.2. Did something change between these?

I've attached a sample vi which demonstrates the problem. I'll be immensely grateful to anyone who helps me with this.

Apparently this was a bug fixed in 8.6.1. I guess I'll install that ASAP.
