I have an issue with layers in the "Icon Editor" in LabView 2014 SP1.
Each time I use the Icon Editor and I save the changes, all layers are merged together also if the property "merge layer on commit" is unchecked.
In the previous releases (2013 SP1, 2011 SP1, ...), I could save the layers separately (not merged).
There is an other property to set the layers saved separately (not merged), or this is an unexpected behaviour?

It works fine for me. When it is checked and I click OK the layers merge.
When it's unchecked they are saved separately.
Edit: I use LV 2014 SP1 64-Bit English

Which version of LabVIEW 2014 SP1 are you using asper? 32/64 bit? Language?

PeterFoerster,
thanks for the replay.
Starting from yours note, I started a completely new LV-project and the icon layers work fine!Definitely, I experience the described issue with all VIs that are been created in LV 2013 SP1 and now are open and saved with LV 2014 SP1.
In the project created with LV 2013 SP1, and now open in LV 2014 SP1, if I create a new VI the the icon layers work fine!I use LV 2014 SP1 32 bit, English.

Maybe when they get converted from 2013 to 2014 they get flattened? NI might have changed the format of the icons between versions?
What do you need our team of experts to assist you with?
Thanks!
We'll be in touch soon!
