Hello All,

 

I am developing a application to control motors. There are 18 parameters which are to be controlled using PID all of which can run simultaneously..Alongwith PID loops there will be some other loops too..like Data Acquisition, Safety Interlocks, Communication, etc., 

My doubt is whether it will be too much of a work for 8196 RT?

Are there any other ways artchitecture wise to handle this many PID loops?

 

Any help will be largely appreciated.
