I tried installed caps on the first couple channels of my 1100 module measuring
type T thermocouples. (The 1100 was set up with no on-board filtering, no
open TC detect, into a 16E-10.) Of course the noise on those channels with
the new caps almost completely disappeared. However, the temperature reading
exhibited an offset of a couple degrees F ,about 50uVDC ocurred. Any advice
for using caps on the 1100 to filter TC signals? Does an offset normally
occur? Linear scale adjustment? Parallel offset? Is cap choice critical?
