labview Programming Comparison logic block

Hi I am trying to compare two voltages and give out a true
or false output. I am using the comparison LESS OR EQUAL block in labview so
when the voltage on x is greater than the voltage on y it will give out a true.
This works but what I need to do is be able to put in a tolerance so that the
voltage on x has to be greater than the voltage on y by say 1 volt.

Does anyone know if there is an easy way of doing this with
labview. I am not very experienced with labview and the rest of the program is
working if I could just build the tolerance level to stop the motor moving all
the time.

Re: labview Programming Comparison logic block

I assume by yoiur question you are actually referring to Greater or Equal to rather than less than. But you would do this simply by thinking of it this way: "x - y >= 1". So you could use a subtract node (x-y) and then the greater or equal to node compared to a constant value of your tolerance eg. 1 ( >= 1). You could even make the constant "1" a Control so that you could adjust the tolerance if you desired.
