mindstorms and nested loops?

I'm considering buying a mindstorm set for my son for Christmas. I have seen some you tube videos of the block diagram language that is much like LabVIEW, but I am left wondering can it do more complicated things like nested loops? I can see us doing a lot with it if it has nested loops!
