Hello,
We are looking to reproduce the behavior.
In the mean time have you tried to run a repair on the NXT Module? Does that produce any different behavior?

I'm not using an NXT, just running the tutorial. I don't have an NXT.

Hello,
We are still working on setting up and testing the software with LabVIEW 2012 on a Mac OS X 10.7.
Did you install the LEGO NXT 2012 Module or LabVIEW for LEGO® MINDSTORMS®?

LabView for Lego Mindstorms

Hello,
We were able to reproduce the misbehavior when creating a new project with the LabVIEW for LEGO® MINDSTORMS® on a Mac OS X. We are currently looking into the problem and have filed a CAR on the misbehavior.
Another work around is by changing the Path to Robot Project Folder location to something other than the default. When I set that path to be the Desktop it created the project in a folder on the Desktop and worked as expected.

This is almost certainly a file permissions error.
Try creating a folder at ~/Documents/LabVIEW Data/NXTRobotics
and make sure you have read write permissions to it.

I do.
permissions on new folder Labview Data/NXT Robotics/test folder are:
(myself) Read & write
staff Read Only
everyone Read Only

Hi Bobby, et al,
Regarding the installation on MacBooks with OS 10.7.5,changing the path for newly created robot projects allowed the project file and default folder(s) to be generated properly. It appears to have been a permissions error as several people suggested here.
Thanks and best regards to all who responded here.
