Hi LabVIEW Fans of LEGO!

 

I have just started playing around with my new toy, the NXT set 🙂

 

Can someone please tell me why my attached code does not work as expected? In the top loop whatever the value of Forwards? is when the VI runs is what it stays at, the bottom loop correctly toggles the direction of the count.

 

This is being run in debug mode from the NXT Terminal.

 

I am using LV8.6 with the toolkit for 8.6 that I downloaded.

 

My LabVIEW knowledge is pretty good, so is this some NXT "feature" I am not aware of???
