Data Dashboard chart history length

Is there any way to change the number of data points displayed on a Data Dashboard Chart? Something analogous to "Chart History Length" in LabVIEW?

Also, what is the number of points displayed as default? I'm guessing 1024.

I'm thinking about switching to an XY plot... are there limitations to number of points displayed in that?

No, you can't control the buffer size of the chart. I believe it supports 1024 points.

I'm not aware of any limits for the XY Graph (or the normal Graph) except for practical limts of processing time and network bandwidth. Remember that the difference between the chart and graphs is that the graphs have no history so you have to send the whole dataset with every update. Once you get up to several thousand points per update you may notice lower performance. If you are only updating once a second or less it may still be good enough, though.
