Weird Vertical Slider Appearance in Google Chrome

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I'm using NXG 4.0 to develop an HTML page for my application. However, I notice that the vertical slider appearance is strange in Google Chrome. I'm not sure whether it is like this since my first launch of NXG. But I'm sure that I've done nothing special and seeing the vertical slider like this in Chrome. It appears properly in IE. Anybody has any hint on this?

Hi Richtian,

The R&D team has investigated this issue and found that's an issue in Chrome.

We believe this bug will be fixed in Chrome 85, which is estimated to be released (stable channel) around 8/25/2020.

Hey, Christina

Thanks for the confirmation. One other quick question, is there any past version of Chrome which does not have this bug?

Thanks,

Richtian

HI Richtian,

Yes. The bug was not in Chrome at the time that LabVIEW NXG 5.0 shipped.

Let me know if you need a specific version number, and I'll find the version that we used for our release validation.

The Chrome bug was introduced very recently: only Chrome 84 (released July 14th) has the bug, Chrome 83 and earlier do not.
