Interface 4D Systems LCD (uLCD-32PTU) dengan myRIO

Halo rekan2,

Sekedar sharing salah satu project labview saya

Tujuan:

- Membuat interface LCD dari 4D System untuk myRIO

- Dapat menulis dan membaca command serial LCD - myRIO menggunakan interface serial yang diimplementasikan di digital input dan digital output di myRIO

- Memberikan contoh aplikasi sederhana, membaca data dari touch screen LCD, dibaca myRIO kemudian menuliskannya kembali ke Chart di LCD

Software Yang Diperlukan:

LabVIEW 2013 or later

LabVIEW Real Time module 2013

LabVIEW FPGA 2013

LabVIEW myRIO Driver (di dalam myRIO DVD 1)

4D Workshop IDE http://www.4dsystems.com.au/product/4D_Workshop_4_IDE

Hardware Yang Diperlukan:

• NI myRIO
• SK-32PTU (Starter Kit)

This item includes the following:

• uLCD-32PTU Display Module
• 2GB microSD Card
• uUSB-PA5 Programming Adaptor
• 150mm 5 way Female-Female jumper cable, for quick connection to another device or breadboard
• 5 way Male-Male adaptor (for converting the Female-Female cable to be Male-Female)
• uUSB-PA5 Programming Adaptor
• Cable jumper

Konfigurasi Hardware

Metode yang digunakan:

1. Implementasikan protokol serial menggunakan Digital I/O ke dalam myRIO FPGA. refer ke project ini,  http://www.ni.com/example/27164/en/

2. Membuat program VI di myRIO untuk mengirim dan membaca command serial

Buat yang nyoba-nyoba pakai NI VISA, via USB-RS232 converternya untuk komunikasi dengan LCD-nya, dan LCDnya nyala-mati artinya power 5V via USB tidak kuat. Gunakan external power supply. Saya pakai 2x 7805 baru kuat.

Hi,

I wanted to use 4d systems gen4-uLCD-24PT  in one of my applications where I need to display constellation diagrams and XY graphs on the screen using data from LabVIEW . Is it possible to get the results on the screen like in the images I have attached using above hardware. Is there any other way to do it ?
