Hello there,

What kind of motor driver are you using? Do you use any NI hardware? (LabVIEW 2009 and NI assistant are only the software)

For Motion Control, there is another add-on software specifically designed for this purpose, NI Soft Motion and Motion Assistant

You might want to check this link for more tutorial about Motion Control using NI product http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3367/en#toc8

So, It's stepper motor controller.

There should be motion software package included with this hardware. Do you have NI Motion?

If not, you can download from here http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/10594

Still study NI motion assistant.

Labview can read a text file for tool path.

for example:

for axis x, y and z

for example

0,0,0

10,0,0

10,10,10

.
